UKAreaCodes app for iPhone and iPad

UKAreaCodes is the app you never knew you wanted - a simple, searchable list of all the United Kingdoms telephone area codes!

** Over 850 entries listing the major town for each area code in the UK including sub codes for Northern Ireland and Greater London. **

If you have ever received an unanswered phone call from someone and wondered where they were calling from having not recognised the number, you can use UKAreaCodes to find the nearest major town where they called from.

Simply enter the area code into the search bar and the list will automatically filter on your search parameters.

You can also search by UK town name. Enter part or all of one of over 850 listed towns and the list will filter on your search criteria.

Order by area code or town name to make searching even easier. When ordering by town name, you now get an index to speed up scrolling.

If you want to see the town on a map, simply tap on the table entry and a map of the area codes town will be displayed.

An internet connection is required to view the maps, but if a connection is not available, the app will still allow you to view the area codes and town list.

Please note that in order to facilitate searching, any spaces between numbers have been removed. For example, Larne in Northern Ireland, which would normally be 028 28xx xxxx is listed as 02828. Please bear this in mind when performing searches.
